New Year, New Cleaning Habits!
I will admit I hit the Kon Mari bandwagon hard and I was all about only keeping things that "spark joy." Turns out between the crazy folding methods and my over sensitive side it wasn't for me. I spent the next few months trying to find ways to organize my life better. The key is finding everything a
"home" that you can get to easily. Here are some products I have at my home that have changed how I organize for the good. This is not an ad, I am an Amazon affiliate but the IKEA, Wayfair, and Joann Fabric products I have no affiliate with I just really love their product!
1. 15 pc airtight food containers comes with chalk labels $39.97 can be found here. 2. Photo Organizer 16 individual 4x6 colored compartments. I love this for organizing photos by years, holidays, or events. $32.31 found here. 3. Toy storage bin. Lightweight perfect to organize Legos, Barbie's, art supplies, etc. $85.99 Found here. 4. Cube Storage. I can not emphasize how amazing this product has been for my family. I have one in three of my rooms. I use them in my children's closets, it really helps organize bows, blocks, and so much more. They come in various sizes, the one pictures is $69.99 5. Photo Storage Keeper. This is smaller than the multicolored on above it contains 6 5x7 containers.. $24.99 (though goes on sale a lot for $12) found here. 6. Cabinet Storage Shelf. I use these in my cabinets to separate my plate sizes but I also use them in the children's library to separate the books by holidays. If you don't have a huge collection of holiday books you could sperate them in other ways such as reading levels or hard covers and softcovers. I really keeps the books tidy and makes finding a specific book so much easier. $13.97 found here. 7. 6 quart Clear Storage Box 4 pack. I love the size of these. My daughter has so many little toys that I use to never know where to put so they would end up in Ziplocs everywhere! Now she has a container for every small toy such as: LOL Surprise toys, Blume Dolls, My Little Ponies and Doll House People. $23.55 found here. 8. Fabric Storage Bin. These come in all different types of prints and fit well in the cube storage. I bought the navy blue print in store last year and I don't see it on the website so I wonder if online and in store offer different prints. $3.99 found here. 9. Decorative Storage. I have this in out basement playroom it is more on the expensive side but it's really nice quality and has a nice back so you don't need a storage bin if you don't want to. $129.99 found here. 10. Wire Picture Hangers. When I bought my house the kitchen had one installed and I had never seen one of these before and they are handy! I hang my pizza coupons, children artwork, baby announcements, save the dates, etc. Now I am buying another one for the playroom just for the children's art projects. They are super affordable. $18.99 found here.
